What’s new in hearing technology? That’s a question I’m delighted to answer these days! There are so many innovations we want you to know about.
Please join the Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC) in NYC for a special Hearing Aid Technology Open House April 30 to May 2 featuring the latest devices from all of the leading hearing aid manufacturers. It’s an ideal opportunity for you to see this impressive line-up of new instruments, learn which could be best for you, and experience the technology risk-free for 14 days. We’ll be happy to provide a free hearing check if it’s been a while since your last check-up.
Here are a few of the hearing device innovations we’ll be featuring:
- Halo – Try a new kind of hearing aid from Starkey called Halo that’s engineered to interact with your iPhone. This is the just-released Made for iPhone (MFI) technology you’ve been reading about. With Halo, you’ll be able to stream phone calls and your favorite television shows directly to your hearing aids and easily change your hearing aid settings remotely using your phone (just to name a few features).
- Lyric – People with mild to moderate hearing loss will want to try Lyric, a hearing aid that can be worn for months at a time. It’s comfortable, positioned entirely in the ear, and completely invisible. The Center for Hearing and Communication is pleased to be among the few audiology centers in Manhattan with expertise in fitting this remarkable hearing device by Phonak.
- Roger – Also from Phonak is a revolutionary new hearing aid accessory called Roger Pen. It’s a cutting-edge wireless microphone that improves people’s ability to understand speech in noise and over distance. We have a growing number of clients who find this accessory indispensable, whether at a business meeting, a restaurant, or family gathering. We think it looks pretty cool too.
This special Hearing Aid Technology Open House is by appointment only, so please call us today at (917) 305-7766 to reserve a space. Or email us at appointments@CHChearing.org.
There are no costs to participate in the Open House. You’ll receive a hearing check, personal listening demonstration, and 14-day trial of the instrument that’s best for you – all free! Additionally, you can take advantage of special discount offers on Oticon hearing aids (save up to $500) and the Roger Pen accessory (save 40%).
What’s most important is that you’ll benefit from the experience and clinical expertise of a CHC audiologist. We take the time to get to know you and your individual hearing and communication needs so that we can determine a custom solution that’s right for you. As a participant in our Open House, you’ll receive a full 60 minutes with a CHC audiologist. Should additional time be needed to get you the maximum benefit from your hearing aid (or other device), we will gladly spend the extra time. And please be assured that we do not have alliances with any single hearing aid manufacturer. Our only concern is that you receive hearing health care of the highest caliber and have every opportunity to connect to life.
May is Better Hearing and Speech Month. Let’s celebrate together!
