Golden Agers: Live better with hearing loss
Join CHC’s Golden Agers Group, a free monthly educational/recreational gathering for older adults with hearing loss.
Whether you wear hearing aids or not, enjoy meaningful social interaction, lively discussions and immersive activities in a fully accessible setting. Live better with hearing loss by:
- Making friends with others actively living with hearing loss
- Socializing in a hearing-friendly setting
- Learning skills and techniques to help you communicate with confidence
Each session is facilitated by speech therapist Janet Pierro who offers stimulating and fun activities. Past activities have included creative writing, yoga, painting, jewelry making, lipreading training and stimulating conversation around current events. Coming up: musical and dance performances, captioned movies, special guests, museum visits and more.
A light lunch is served.
