Recognizing those who make a difference in the lives of people with hearing loss.

Disabilities Commissioner, Victor Calise

December 3, 2015 at 4:00-5:30pm
52 Broadway, NYC, 19th Fl.

Join us for our 105th Annual Meeting, December 3, 2015, celebrating CHC’s achievements over the past year and four remarkable individuals who are making the world a better place for people with hearing loss.

This year’s theme, Assuring a World Without Limits, puts the spotlight on those dedicated to improving quality of life and creating opportunity for people with hearing loss. Who better to serve as keynote speaker than our own New York crusader for people with disabilities, Commissioner Victor Calise.

As Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, Victor Calise works tirelessly in his quest to make New York City fully accessible to people with disabilities. All New Yorkers benefit from his vision and drive, and we’re thrilled to have him as our keynote speaker

Among this year’s honorees is Deputy Inspector Dan Carione, a dedicated and principled member of the New York City Police Department, who fought successfully to change the NYPD’s policy that banned cops who use hearing aids. We’re deeply honored that he’ll be sharing his story with CHC’s community of clients and supporters.
