CHC therapists for emotional health services
Therapists who are culturally and linguistically accessible
The Baker Family Emotional Health and Wellness Center at CHC is one of New York City’s premier providers of mental health psychotherapeutic and psychiatric services for adults and children. We are one of the few multidisciplinary NYS Office of Mental Health licensed outpatient services established to support primarily, but not exclusively, the Deaf, Hard-of Hearing and Deaf-Blind communities. With our experienced and American Sign Language fluent therapists, we pride ourselves in offering compassionate support in a safe, culturally and linguistically accessible environment. We are committed to working with our clients and their loved ones to determine the best possible road to emotional and psychological well-being.
All people face difficult life predicaments. Too often we can find ourselves in situations such as family or peer relationship conflicts, the grief we experience after a loved one dies, parenting issues, school or work problems, aging, marriage, divorce or intimate relationship problems which can harshly affect our lives and cause distress. Therapists at the Emotional Health and Wellness Center at the Center for Hearing and Communication are here for you to listen and explore solutions that can help guide you to make life “good again.”
