Valued Member of the CHC Community,

Laurie Hanin, Ph.D., CCC-A
Executive Director
In an effort to keep our clients and staff as safe as possible, CHC-NY is transitioning all employees in our New York office to a remote workforce, effective March 18. At that time, CHC clinicians (and support staff) will begin working from home, where they will be accessible by phone or email to answer your questions and provide teletherapy services, as appropriate.
What You Need to Know
We expect to be working remotely through the end of March and possibly into April, depending on developments with the coronavirus outbreak. While we are working from home, we ask that you not visit our office at 50 Broadway. We’ll contact you when we are ready to resume in-office services.
For updates and other CHC news, please visit our website at CHChearing.org. As we continue to assess and respond to the situation, we will share all relevant updates on the home page.

You are encouraged to contact your CHC clinician if there is anything he or she can help you with. Our phones are forwarded so that our staff can be fully reachable and at your service. Below is our contact information by department:

One response to “CHC-NY Services Update in Response to Coronavirus Outbreak”
Hi I am very hard of hearing and I am X-ray tech and also room patients at work. Even with hearing aids this is a struggle in my busy work environment I have been at my job 17 years and have accustomed myself very well. I was sopposed to return to work in Monday and have to go through Human Resources dept to make accommodations. We are required to be ear N 95 masks and many dr and patients a day are in office. I am trying my hardest to find out what rights I have during this pandemic. Nothing anywhere on the workers who are hard of hearing. Only patients. I don’t have a desk job I work with many people on a daily basis. Is there anything you can recommend for me or what rights I have or suggestions ? I would truly appreciate anything. Suzy
