International Noise Awareness Day

National Speech-Language-Hearing Month

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month, a campaign founded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for the purpose of raising awareness of hearing loss and communication challenges and recognizing the vital role of speech-language pathologists and audiologists. Throughout the month, the Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC) will engage in educational outreach, special events, and exclusive offers to promote healthy hearing and effective communication.
