Remote learning needs of students with hearing loss
Supporting your child’s virtual learning curriculum
November ’20 Update: CHC is here for you and your child at any point in the school year when you think educational support services could be beneficial. We’ll help your child get the most out of in-school or distance learning, and we can support your child’s transition from one setting to another if that need should occur.
With the school year about to begin for most children, we are pleased to share an exciting new program that CHC is now offering to support your child’s academic development and make your life a little easier during this challenging back-to-school season.
The program – inspired by the dramatic changes to our educational system when stay-at-home orders went into effect – addresses the unique challenges that remote learning poses for students with hearing loss.
Remote-learning + home-school consultant services
CHC’s Teachers of the Deaf are now offering remote-learning and home-school consultant services for students of all ages with hearing loss.
These programs have been designed to support your child’s virtual learning curriculum and to take the pressure of prioritizing and organizing your child’s school day off of you.
While this upcoming school year will certainly be different from what we know and had hoped for, together we can ensure that this will be a successful year for your child!
