If healthy living tops your list of New Year’s resolutions, now is the perfect time to prioritize better hearing—whether for yourself or someone you care about.

Contact us in New York or Florida to schedule an appointment for any of our in-office services, and check out our 5 Steps to Better Hearing in the New Year.

Whatever your individual hearing needs are, these simple steps will help you (or a loved one) stay connected, confident and engaged all year long.

#1 - Get a Hearing Test

Make annual hearing testing a part of your overall health and wellness program. If your test results suggest a hearing loss, be sure to follow the recommendations of your audiologist. Not quite ready to schedule an in-office hearing test? Our free online screening is a good place to start. More about online screening.

#3 - Protect Your Hearing from Noise

Exposure to everyday sounds can cause permanent hearing loss if the volume is too high. Stream music, games and videos at safe listening levels and wear hearing protection in noisy environments. CHC offers a wide variety of custom hearing protection to meet all your listening needs. Read more.

#5 - Spread the Word that Hearing Matters

Left untreated, hearing loss can negatively impact our physical, mental and emotional health, increasing our risk for social isolation, depression, falls and cognitive decline. Learn the facts and spread the word to family and friends that hearing health matters. Read more.
