2017 hearing technology highlights

Cellion – Signia (i.e., Siemens) just launched Cellion, a rechargeable hearing aid that’s a real game-changer. It provides up to 24 hours of continued use with unlimited Bluetooth streaming on a single charge. It’s a great choice for anyone who prefers not having to deal with batteries. Wireless inductive charging technology means you simply place the aids in a charging cradle and charging automatically begins. No fussing to align contact points. Clients have been thrilled with the sound quality too.

Beyond – Beyond is the new Made-for-iPhone hearing aid by Widex that offers three options for wireless connectivity: Bluetooth, telecoil and the Widex Dex communication series. There’s also a superb app that allows you to customize your real-world listening experiences using your own hearing preference settings. It’s easy to use (really). And many clients have remarked on the sound quality being more natural.
