Michele DiStefano is CHC's New Audiology Director

I'm thrilled to announce that veteran audiologist Michele DiStefano is CHC's new Director of Audiology, overseeing the Shelley and Steven Einhorn Audiology Center and Berelson Hearing Technology Center.

Gold Standard in Audiological Care

Since joining CHC in 2017, Dr. DiStefano has demonstrated the clinical and leadership skills that will ensure CHC's Audiology program continues to set the gold standard for many years to come.

Earlier in her 23-year career, Dr. DiStefano honed her talents at Beth Israel Medical Center, Clarke Schools and New York Eye and Ear, where she developed expertise in adult and pediatric hearing health care. She is a graduate of the audiology program at CUNY-Brooklyn College and very much embodies CHC's vision of Communication Without Limits.

Best Wishes to Ellen Lafargue in Retirement

Dr. DiStefano has stepped into the formidable shoes of Dr. Ellen Lafargue, who retired last month after a distinguished, 39-year career at CHC. We are grateful to Ellen for all that she contributed and for the extraordinary impact she's had on the lives of her clients. Her commitment to our mission and unwavering focus on client-centered care will be a legacy that serves CHC for decades to come.
